Basketball fans around the world will be rejoicing at the release of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro Philly 2024. Having decided to relaunch the late NBA star's signature line, Nike has continuously shown the respect and love Kobe and his signature shoes deserve with an ever-growing array of fantastic designs. The Protro Philly 2024 is no expectation. Despite being best known for his ball skills on the court with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant grew up in Philadelphia and this colourway is a less than subtle nod to that era of his life where he impressed playing for Philly’s very own Lower Merion High School. This colour scheme which is a rework of the original that hit shelves in 2009 uses a USA-inspired colour scheme, draped in a deep blue hue throughout the upper and accented with white Swooshes and red pigments. From a technical standpoint, FlyWire wraps the quarter and rear sections, adding reinforcements and providing a secure lockdown fit. While underneath this Protro edition boasts a hidden large-volume Zoom Air unit in the heel for superior cushioning and impact protection when balling out on the hardwood.
