Adding to its celebratory 30th-anniversary lineup the Jordan brand introduces us to the Air Jordan ‘Alternate Collection’ program which looked to re-imagine a number of Michael Jordan player exclusive colourways inspired by the Chicago Bulls on the canvas of a trio of early model Air Jordans. The Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89 is one of the resulting pairs, released in January 2016 and featuring a design based on the Chicago Bulls’ white and red home uniform. This shoe is a homage to Michael Jordan's court exports, subtle nods to the team where it all began echo through the colour scheme and with it all mounted on a classic Jordan 4, it brings a retro feel to what is soon to be a modern favourite.
